TOPIC:
Brass Deflection for Left Handed Shooters firing the CF-15
I have had a few left handed shooters asking me how to more effectively deflect the brass out of our Carbon fiber rifles. Brass is sometimes deflected back at a sharper angle on the Carbon rifles and some left handed shooters have been struck with empty brass. The most effective solution is to use the TC-Accessories brass deflector. This installs very easily and deflects the brass away from the left handed shooter. Mount it at about the forth groove in the Picatinny rail on the upper receiver. For sighting it is easiest to mount a holographic sight ahead of the deflector. You can also use a small scope mount ahead of this if you choose to use a scope. The TC Accessories Brass Deflector will also work on our rifles with aluminum receivers. It is useful in deflecting brass downward as well if positioned further forward on the rail. This makes the brass easier to pick up in the field.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
*************************************************************************
This photo came in from Rick Windham, Outdoor Recreational Writer & Lecturer.
Yes, he says, “same name as your company! I am an outdoor recreational writer and radio show host in Western Nebraska and regular shooting buddy to Fred Werkmeister. Fred just bought a Windham Weaponry AR and loves it. It is a fantastic rifle.”
Fred Werkmeister, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, checks out his target while sighting in his new Windham Weaponry AR-15 rifle. This was three shots at 100 yards from a right-out-of-the-box rifle. Outstanding!

I finished my SRC, battle sights at a 45 degree so scope stays on.

I am a retired San Antonio police officer and had the good fortune to speak with Todd Coons several months ago regarding the purchase of one of your rifles. Todd had just returned from a Texas hog hunt so an immediate bond was formed. He took the time to explain the history of Windham Weaponry and professionally answered all my questions. I chose the SRC model and received it 21 days after placing my order. Todd was a great help and during this application and purchasing process, I not only became the proud owner of a fine new rifle but made a new friend too. I was more than pleased when I took my SRC (Texas compliant, meaning anything goes on our guns) to the range and shot near minute of angle groups with a Vortex Optics red dot scope. It digested bullet weights from 50 grains to 63 grains without a hitch. The SRC is everything I expected and more. Quality and accuracy are tops and I commend you for supplying us old ‘law dogs’ with a quality product.

This is without a doubt the most accurate AR I have built. My son has shot half inch groups @ of 100 yds from bench rest. Scope is Nikon Prostaff 4-12 X 40mm @ 8 power mounted with BSA tall mounts. Trigger is POF which I really like since I’m not a big fan of light triggers. Even so, the POF is very smooth. All in all, this is a very fine rifle. Getting my eyes (cataracts) fixed soon and fully expect to be honing my skill @ 400 yds.
Thanks for providing the parts.
John R.

I sent an email to you guys right before your first news letter. I purchased my SRC in mid 2009, this weapon has been a blast to shoot. After 5,000 rounds and being knocked around, its still going. I was able to put 1/2 moa groups at 100 yrds with an eotech/ magnifier combo and my personal reloads. 1moa with any commercial. As i said in my last letter it will be the next foundation for my next rifle. And its already started….
My wife is next in line for one. Guess what she’s getting.
Thanks,
Justin in Kentucky

Sure hope this gets through, like to thank Erik for an excellent job done on the custom upper he put together for me. Couldn’t be more pleased, now I’ll have an excellent rifle for mid sized animal, such as Texas Whitetail, and Aoudads out to 200 yds, need yet to find 77/80gr hunting bullets. You folks can be proud of Windham, and competent people like Erik.
Thanks again, Rocci N.

Meet the WINDHAM WEAPONRY TEAM
Featured Employee: Travis Peck, Quality Control
I was working a dead end job when a long time friend, Robert Webber, approached me and told me I should apply to Windham Weaponry. I’d always aspired to work at Bushmaster, so when this new opportunity arose I jumped at the chance to join the WW team. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to change careers. I wake up every day excited to go to work and feel truly blessed to say that because I know many people cannot. The WW team have taken me in and have made me part of their family.
Below: Travis, with son Logan and wife, Amy Travis and his brother Bill.
